This coming Saturday, July 14th, Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island will be entering a float into the Panago Grande Parade in Duncan! This is the third year for the parade and this year’s theme is “show your colours” and that is exactly what we intend to do! Joined by our wonderful volunteers, we will be decorating a float and walking in the parade which begins at 11am – a map can be found below. We have many new exciting projects in the Cowichan Valley including our newly opened ReStore on Government Street as well as our upcoming duplex on Cowichan Lake Road. We want to show our commitment to the community and what better way than with a fun parade. The parade is part of Downtown Duncan Day which will also include activities such as a Pancake Breakfast, Motorcycle Show & Shine, Duncan Farmers Market, and rides and games. If you would like to volunteer for the parade, please email Sarah at s.pachkowsky@habitatmvi.org
