Give your items a second life—and help build a better one for someone else.
ReStores are public retail outlets operated by Habitat, providing a wide variety of affordable new and gently used home furnishings, appliances, lighting, plumbing, hardware, building materials and supplies for sale to the general public. Proceeds generated cover operating costs and assist in funding local build projects.
Shopping at our ReStore is also an environmentally conscious decision. Through this recycling process, Habitat’s nearly 100 Canadian ReStores have helped to divert thousands of tonnes of building materials from the landfills annually.
Donations will be recorded and based on the donation amount, a tax receipt can be provided. Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island can recognize your organization’s total donations with a post on our website and/or your name on a plaque on our Donor Wall inside the ReStore.
It has been a pleasure and honour to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Mid-Vancouver Island. The staff are comprised of a great group of people; organized and easy to work with. Everyone should volunteer at least once!

Our affordable homeownership program bridges the gap between social housing, rental housing, and the open market by offering families the chance to purchase a home at fair market value, with no down payment and a no-interest mortgage.
